Family Maier is living in Vietnam
Since August 2004 Mr. Maier and his family are
living in Vietnam.
Therefore the activities of Alois Maier have been
eased significantly
after several years of time and energy consuming
commuting between
Germany and Vietnam. His wife Birgit together with
his two sons Marco (12)
and Tom (6) were willing to follow him to Vietnam.
“After the successful set-up of the company and
flourishing sales, I could take responsibility to go
to Vietnam together with our children with a clear
conscience”, says Birgit Maier.
Marco and Tom attend an international school in Saigon. Birgit Maier teaches her
children via the German Distance Learning School in order to
deepen their German language proficiency.
Both sons are adopted from orphanages in Thailand.
Life in South-East-Asia implicates many differences for a German
family
compared to life in the homeland. However, everyday life in
Asia can be well mastered with openness, humor and a great
portion of adventuresome ness.
Each day entails new challenges, new situations and particularly
new impressions.
“We consider our time in Vietnam as a real school of life”, says
Birgit Maier, who wishes that many more people come to visit and
get to know fascinating Vietnam.
